Welcome back! When it comes time to sell your property, you want to do everything possible to sell it quickly and for a great price. I have four tips to help you do just that.

    1. Hire the right professional - Make sure you are working with an agent who can get the job done.

    2. Staging - The main goal is to appeal to as many buyers as possible. On our team we have a stager on staff to help make your home appear more open and aesthetically pleasing.

    3. Professional photography - Ninety seven percent of buyers start their search online. You need high-resolution photos to get your buyer interested from behind their computer screen.

    4. Curb appeal - How your home looks on the outside is just as important as how it looks on the inside. You don�t have to break the bank, but make sure the lawn is mowed, hedges are trimmed and the front door has a fresh coat of paint.

    Oklahoma City Fall Real Estate Update



    We�ve had a very interesting market, lately. It has been one of the biggest years for our Oklahoma City market. There is a lot of demand right now.

    New construction is on the high. Unfortunately, because of the tornado, labor and material costs are up. This doesn�t just affect those in the new construction market, either.

    We are starting to see prices creep up. So, if you are thinking about buying, now is the time. Strike before others learn that home prices are rising.

    Interest rates are also increasing, another reason you should buy now. It is also, though, a reason for sellers to get their home on the market. As rates increase the buying power decreases for buyers and your price will have to drop.

    Preparing for the Inspection Period




    What does Homes by Taber do differently prior to the inspection period?

    What we do differently is really second nature to me by now. One of the things we strongly stress, though, is our checklist system. We have a checklist for every stage of construction. These lists are derived from things we know the inspector will specifically look at.

    It�s important to know an inspector will always find something wrong, even if it is as small as one screw being slightly loose. We use our checklists to minimize any problems the inspector may find.
